| This is a natural, effective and
free option. It consists in allowing the hair to
grow until a minimum length so that the hair shaft
can be in touch with an absorbent surface (pillow),
which avoids the detention of sebum flow (DSF).
It is not necessary to use any special product,
only brush your hair and allow the hair at the top
to grow longer. This is a passive method. The most
suitable hairstyle would be a small "bob"
parting the hair in the middle. The alopecia will
not continue affecting new hairs, but those hairs
already damaged will not be able to grow in a healthy
way and therefore they will be finally lost. |

If you decide that it is the moment of taking action
against alopecia in an active way, then you must fight
against the triggering cause of it.
You must avoid the detention of sebum flow (DSF), especially
the one that goes towards the inner hair follicle. The
use of a fluidifyng agent is absolutely necessary to
avoid the DSF, and it will be effective even if you
wish to wear a short hairstyle.
The agent must be able to reach the inner part of the
hair follicle, which is mainly a lipidic environment.
Jojoba oil is an extremely stable, innocuous and very
fluid wax, very similar to our own sebum, which makes
it the ideal choice. In this way, we will be able to
stop in an effective way the advance of the common baldness,
and we will be able to recover a certain number of hairs,
which were already being affected by the degenerative
process of alopecia.
| 3. Make a
fight of it in different fronts |
This is the strategy to try to recover those hairs
already lost by the alopecia process. We must take action
in different fronts, not only against the initial cause,
but also against the derived causes from the triggering
initial cause. It must be attacked the hormonal excess
(DHT accumulated in the sebum), inflammatory processes,
the excess of fungi and bacterial growth, the fibrosis
processes, the rejection by the immune system, the processes
of neuronal degeneration, and even the alteration of
the bulge area (area where the stem cells are located),
and we must also provide a good environment in the skin
by increasing its hydration and moisturizing, elasticity,
blood flow, etc.
We must understand that not all the hairs lost will
be able to be recovered, since as the time goes by,
the negative side effects become more intense, and it
will be only possible to recover those hairs recently
lost. But we must bear in mind that it is much better
to win the war, even if we have to lose some of the
battles.
The human hair is extremely complex, and also the most
evolved among all the different species, one of its
singularities is that the hair is asynchronous, i.e.
the different phases that compose the hair cycle: growth,
rest and loss are not connected in all the different
hairs. Each hair is independent of its neighbour; therefore
each hair has all the biologic system (extremely complex)
to make its own natural cycle.
The process of common baldness is slow, and the alterations
that the hair suffers gradually increase in quantity
and intensity, for that reason the process becomes more
irreversible with the time. In the war against alopecia
there are individual battles with each hair.
There are certain substances which can activate the
anagen or hair growth phase, but these same substances
can affect in a negative way in the following phases
of the hair cycle, and due to the fact that its use
affects in a systematic way to all the hairs, it is
not advisable to recommend treatments that impulse for
a long time only one part of the cycle (It is a possible
explanation to the cycles of shedding and regrowth with
the use of minoxidil and finasteride).
My bet consists of the use of natural products, without
side effects, based in essential oils, which will reach
the target with the help of Jojoba Oil. The mix of different
essential oils acts in a synergic way, powering the
effect of one another.
It is also advisable to use a nutritional supplement
such as the microalgae spirulina, so as to avoid certain
deficiencies of vitamins, minerals, etc
which
are necessary for the growth of our hair.
