Edgar Cayce remedy for baldness

Many of you may be familiar with Edgar Cayce, known as the "sleeping prophet". During his life, he put himself into a dreamlike state in order to offer advice to those afflicted with various sicknesses. These "readings" are very well-documented, and have been known to be effective to many of those who traditional medical science have been unable to help.

Edgar Cayce, many years ago in a reading recommended a relatively simple cure for baldness.

You can find this remedy discussed in the "Edgar Cayce Home Medicine Guide" published by the ARE Press copyright 1982 by the Edgar Cayce Foundation. ISBN 87604-139-X on pages 39, 40, 41.

Briefly, Cayce recommended the application of crude oil, (the kind of oil that comes right out of an oil well) and the use of grain alcohol,(a 20% solution) to cleanse the crude oil off of the scalp after about 40 to 45 minutes and then a light application of white vaseline massaged into the scalp so "as to leave the whole surface of the scalp not too greasy."

Clayce claimed that his remedy would work on most bald heads, unless the hair germs had destroyed the bulbs that grow hair.

The solution: grow your hair

In March 1969, John Lennon and Yoko Ono, just married, gave possible solutions for the society of their times. One of their slogans was curiously allowing one's hair to grow.

They claimed:

Stay in bed for bed peace,
for peace of the world stay in bed,
grow your hair, ok, grow your hair

I don't really know if by growing your hair it would be possible to get the world's peace, but you certainly would be able to preserve your hair.
